Please ?????? Early detection is everything!! Don’t delay. To look at the area around my nose prior to surgery, nothing was visible to the naked eye. Only my dermatologist flagged it months earlier… So don’t stuff around with your health! My skin will heal and in the coming months you’ll hardly see the scar. I’ve been here before 9 years ago. Skin heals beautifully but only if you give it the chance before it’s too late. Extremely grateful to my surgeon and the nurses who looked after me ??? huge thanks ?? ? #skincancerawareness #skincancer #skincancerprevention @chris_obrien_lifehouse

Deb explained that her dermatologist was the first to flag the patch of skin around her nose as suspicious, although to the naked eye everything looked A-Okay.

“Early detection is everything!! Don’t delay,” she continued. “Don’t stuff around with your health!”

This is the second time Deb’s been under the knife in a decade. In June 2011, she was diagnosed with an infiltrating basal cell carcinoma on her upper lip.

“My skin will heal and in the coming months you’ll hardly see the scar. I’ve been here before 9 years ago,” she said. “Skin heals beautifully but only if you give it the chance before it’s too late.”

Many weighed in with get well wishes and words of support.

Thank god you had a check up. sending you all my love,” former Real Housewives of Melbourne star Chyka Keebaugh commented. “Get better soon bella,” singer Tina Arena added.

As an ambassador for the Skin Cancer Foundation, Deb has long been vocal about warning Aussies to look for the signs.

“You just know when something doesn’t feel right when you have awareness of skin, the spots and marks. If something’s not right, an alarm goes off,” she told Mamamia back in 2016.

As two in three of us will develop skin cancer by the age of 70, we can only hope her words cut through.

Sending all the positive vibes your way, Deb!
