We’re kind of Giada De Laurentiis super fans around here so when she shared a recipe for lasagna rolls with a salty ingredient stuffed inside, we knew we had to try it. While the flavor of lasagna rolls isn’t typically all that different from regular lasagna, Giada uses one ingredient to really set her lasagna rolls apart: prosciutto. The salty prosciutto really packs a flavor punch and just melts in your mouth when you take a bite.
Honestly, the thing that surprised me the most about this recipe was how easy it was. I thought rolling each lasagna noodle was going to be time-consuming but the whole dish came together quickly and didn’t really require any more effort than traditional lasagna.
I love that the recipe is so simple that you could easily customize it too. Bacon instead of prosciutto? Sure. Zucchini instead of spinach? It would totally work. You could also add ingredients like Italian sausage, parsley or onion to play around with the flavors.
If you want to give these tasty rolls a try, you can get the full recipe from Giada De Laurentiis’ website, The Giadzy.
