It’s Bob Saget’s birthday today and we’re celebrating the life of television’s most beloved dad. The comedian brought so much laughter and joy into our homes with his role as Danny Tanner in the forever iconic Full House. He was also a brilliant stand-up comedian and TV host.

Saget sadly died in January 2022 as a result of blunt head trauma. His family released a statement thanking fans for “the incredible outpouring of love…which has been a great comfort to us and for which we are eternally grateful.”

“As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter,” they added.

Saget had three daughters: Aubrey, 35, Lara, 32, and Jennifer, 29. We looked back on some of the comedian’s best quotes about fatherhood and the important lessons he imparted on his children.
